How long is your waiting period? 

No waiting period shall apply for a basic funeral, A 3 months waiting period will apply for the full funeral service and cash payout. 

What causes my policy to lapse?

Should you miss 2 premiums in the life span of the policy, your policy will lapse and cease to be active. You must ensure that you pay your policy every month on time to make sure that your policy is always up to date and fully active.

What is a cooling off period? 

The client has the right to cancel the policy within the 31 days “cooling-off period”  should the policy not satisfy their needs.

I don’t have the ID numbers, can you use their date of birth? 

Unfortunately, we need the full ID number when capturing your information to ensure that our data is complete. If the ID number is not provided, this will result in the person not being covered.

Are your premiums fixed or do they increase? 

Premiums will not increase during the subsistence of your policy, however, we reserve the right to adjust your premiums in line with the annual inflation rate. Should we decide to increase your premium then we will inform you 30 days before the increase is set to come into effect. 

What is included in a Basic funeral? 

A Basic funeral service includes. 

  • Fully Trimmed coffin
  • Body pickup and delivery (within the borders of Gauteng) 
  • Death registration 
  • Mortuary Services
  • Hearse
  • Screen
  • Church Trolley
  • Cemetery arrangements and decor
  • The funeral will be conducted during the week 
What is an Admin fee at claim stage? 

This is a once off fee of R960 that the client pays when arranging a funeral with us. This fee is non-refundable. We do not charge this fee on a monthly basis on our policies, we only charge a once off fee when an insured event occurs.

  • Enter your ID Number, Cell Number and e-mail address.
  • You will receive an OTP
  • Enter the OTP number then create your own password.
